Kali's Joy

A memorial fund to honor and continue Kali’s work to bless families near and far

This fund has been set up by Connected Families, the ministry where Kali served as Executive Admin/Development Associate starting in early 2012.

Kali Joy

Our hearts are broken. On Dec 15th, 2013, our friend and co-worker Kali Joy Hendrikson passed from this life into eternity with Jesus. We have missed Kali’s joy in our office and we know by poring over the Caring Bridge and Facebook tributes that we got only a small slice of the joy she shared with family, friends, and her church. Kali would come in and fill our space with her joyous energy, interest in others, and of course “the organization of our chaos of ideas.” Her work with us set the bar high, and we desire to carry her legacy to thousands of families. She is deeply missed.

Kali’s greatest joy was Jesus. Two-years ago she re-organized her career priority in order to assure that Jesus was in the center of every home. To honor her passion and further her work, Connected Families, the ministry Kali served, has been named as one of the memorial choices. To learn more details about Kali’s story, you can visit a fundraising page she set up in the fall of 2012, just a few short months after the loss of her son Isaiah. This page goes into more detail about why Connected Families was so important to Kali, and explains her passion to bless families through the work of Connected Families. We've re-opened this page with her family’s blessing because the story is a powerful testimony to God's faithfulness, even in the pain of loss.

You can donate to this fund through either of the above fundraising pages, or by a check with "Kali's Joy" in the memo line. Our address is:
